Vietnam Social Security has just issued an official dispatch requesting 34 regional Social Security to change their name to Provincial and Municipal Social Security and to place their headquarters in that province or city.

Accordingly, the Social Insurance of districts, towns (generally called district level) and inter-district levels will also be changed to Social Insurance at the grassroots level to unify identification and ensure systematicity. The grassroots level will be arranged before September 30. The name change of 34 regional social insurance agencies is for easy identification, convenience for people and agencies when contacting for work and in accordance with the new administrative unit.

Thus, Social Insurance Region XVIII (including 3 provinces before the merger: Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh ) will change its name to Social Insurance of Phu Tho province. Head office at No. 394, Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Viet Tri Ward, Phu Tho Province.
