Coach Mai Duc Chung shares his thoughts with his three students, Chuong Thi Kieu, Thanh Nha, and Hoang Thi Loan.
One of the most talked-about names upon the Vietnamese women's national team's return from training in Germany and Poland was center-back Chương Thị Kiều, who made her comeback in the victory against Schott Mainz (Germany) on June 15th.
The tough female center-back shared: "I'm still working hard every day and doing jogging exercises to maintain my stamina for the tournament. I've recovered 50-60% now and I'm still trying to get back in good health to compete with my teammates."
Certainly, the biggest motivation is the hope of always fulfilling our dreams. I would like to express my gratitude to the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), TCP Vietnam Company, and Red Bull for their strong support, which has helped us to train and compete better, enabling us to perform at our best on the international stage."
The Vietnamese women's football team is confident and determined to aim for the 2023 Women's World Cup.
VFF General Secretary, Mr. Duong Nghiep Khoi, said: "The history of Vietnamese football has officially turned a new page as the golden girls of the Vietnamese women's national team have excellently secured a ticket to compete in the 2023 Women's World Cup."
On this journey to the open sea, we have the opportunity to meet and compete against very strong opponents, namely the women's national teams of the United States, the Netherlands, and Portugal.
But nothing can be stronger than the team's determination, fighting spirit, and unwavering dedication to the fans and to the national football scene.
On behalf of the VFF, the entire coaching staff, and the Vietnamese women's national team, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the timely and practical moral support from TCP Vietnam Company and Red Bull, as well as other organizations.
VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan and Coach Mai Duc Chung presented jerseys to TCP Vietnam General Director Nguyen Thanh Huan.
We believe that, with the positive and enduring energy from TCP Vietnam and Red Bull, our golden girls will reach even greater heights and go further in their journey to conquer new heights on the football field in the near future."
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huan, General Director of TCP Vietnam, shared: "As a leading sponsor of the Vietnamese national football teams, Red Bull is honored to have accompanied and supported the Vietnamese women's team throughout this time."
The challenges are growing, but together with millions of Vietnamese fans, Red Bull is delighted to be a strong "support system," a long-lasting source of energy to motivate the "queens" of the Vietnamese national team to move forward and write a new chapter in the history of Vietnamese football.
Special gifts from sponsor Red Bull to the members of the Vietnamese women's national team.
The more we admire the talent, effort, and courageous, all-out fighting spirit of the players and coaching staff, the more proud and appreciative we become of the corporation's mission of "Energizing and revitalizing," not only to ignite the spirit of sports but also to inspire millions of Vietnamese people."
The collaboration with the VFF to organize the event "Red Bull - Positive Energy Accompanying the Vietnamese Women's National Team at the 2023 World Championship" demonstrates the commendable efforts of the Red Bull brand, owned by TCP Vietnam, to ignite the passion for Vietnamese football, break boundaries, and reach new heights.
The program also demonstrates the timely attention of the company and brand to the Vietnamese women's national team, to each player and member of the coaching staff, so that they will not falter against opponents, confidently overcome challenges, and compete with sustained energy.
