The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and congratulated the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province on the occasion of Buddha's Birthday.

On the morning of May 18, comrade Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and a delegation of the province visited and congratulated the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province on the occasion of Buddha's Birthday (Buddhist calendar 2568 - solar calendar 2024).

Accompanying him were comrade Nguyen Hoang Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial Police, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee Office.

Welcoming the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the delegation were Most Venerable Thich Minh Quang, Secretary of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province and dignitaries in the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc sent best wishes to Most Venerable Thich Minh Quang and other dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers in the province to celebrate a peaceful and happy Buddha's birthday.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive contributions of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province and the dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers who have always accompanied the provincial Party Committee and government in Party building, building the political system, consolidating the great national unity bloc, developing the socio-economy, and ensuring national defense and security.

He hoped that the Church and its dignitaries would continue to promote patriotism, well implement the motto "Buddhism, nation and socialism"; constantly promote the fine traditions of Buddhism, actively propagate and mobilize Buddhist followers and people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, join hands to build the great national unity bloc, actively participate in emulation movements, contributing to building the province to develop more and more sustainably.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province and dignitaries, monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province, Most Venerable Thich Minh Quang, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, respectfully thanked the sentiments and attention of the provincial leaders, departments, branches, organizations and localities in the province; wished to continue to receive support, attention and create favorable conditions for Buddhist activities in the province to take place in accordance with the principles, purposes and regulations of the law and locality. At the same time, he affirmed that he would continue to promote the spirit of patriotism, living "good life - good religion", joining hands to build the great national unity bloc, mobilizing monks, nuns and Buddhists to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality, maintaining security and order; praying for national peace and people's security, contributing to building Ninh Binh increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
