Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.

On the afternoon of September 25, the Lang Son Provincial Party Congress elected the Executive Committee of the 18th Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 52/53 comrades (1 comrade was absent). The new Provincial Party Executive Committee was introduced to the Congress.

The Lang Son Provincial Party Executive Committee elected the Provincial Party Standing Committee consisting of 14/15 comrades (1 comrade is absent). Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the 17th Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, was re-elected as Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.

Comrades Doan Thi Hau and Nguyen Canh Toan continued to be elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Doan Thu Ha, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission, was elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee.

The Provincial Party Executive Committee also elected the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee consisting of 11 comrades. Comrade Vu Hoang Quy, Secretary of the Party Committee of Huu Lung commune, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

In his acceptance speech, comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, thanked the delegates for their trust in electing him to the new Provincial Party Committee. The 18th Provincial Party Committee will, together with the Party Committee, continue to promote tradition and experience, strengthen solidarity, consensus, unity of thought and action, uphold the Party's principles, innovate thinking, methods, and working style in the spirit of saying and doing, putting the interests of the Party, the collective, and the people first and foremost, successfully completing all assigned tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress.

Comrade Hoang Van Nghiem was born in 1968, Tay ethnic group; hometown: Tan Van commune (formerly Binh La commune), Lang Son province; qualifications: Master of Economics; Advanced political theory.

During his working career, comrade Hoang Van Nghiem has held the following positions: Vice Chairman of Binh Gia District People's Committee; Deputy Director of Lang Son Provincial Department of Trade and Tourism; Deputy Director of Lang Son Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Chief of Office of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee; Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee; Secretary of Loc Binh District Party Committee; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Council.

From June 2021 to November 2024, he was the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lang Son province, and a delegate of the 15th National Assembly (July 2021).

On December 1, 2024, the Provincial Party Executive Committee elected comrade Hoang Van Nghiem to hold the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term XVII, 2020 - 2025. In Decision No. 1725-QDNS/TW, dated December 4, 2024, the Politburo approved comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to hold the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
