Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended the oath-taking ceremony for new soldiers in 2024.

On the morning of June 4th, at the 896th Infantry Regiment, the Provincial Military Command held a swearing-in ceremony for 154 new recruits enlisting in 2024. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Chau Thi Thanh Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Secretary of the Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial Military Command; and commanders of various agencies and units of the Provincial Armed Forces.

After three months of training, the new recruits of the 896th Infantry Regiment successfully completed all prescribed training content, achieving high results. Notably, 100% of the soldiers demonstrated firm ideological stances, good moral character, high organizational discipline, achieved good or excellent results in the three explosives tests, and ensured absolute safety for personnel and equipment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Truong Thanh Viet, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, requested that the agencies of the Provincial Military Command closely coordinate with the 896th Infantry Regiment to stabilize the organization and staffing for the new recruits assigned to the new unit, and ensure that transportation to the new unit is provided on time.

For the 896th Infantry Regiment, the focus is on building a firm ideological stance and political fortitude, upholding the spirit of socialist patriotism in each soldier, while maintaining strict discipline, improving training levels, ensuring combat readiness, preserving and promoting internal unity and military-civilian solidarity, and building a unit that is increasingly regular, strong, and comprehensive. For those comrades assigned to participate in training courses for non-commissioned officers and specialized personnel, the focus is on actively training and studying to improve their overall skills in all aspects, upholding the traditions of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" and the traditions of the provincial armed forces.
