Many Supe Lam Thao workers voluntarily donated blood to support people affected by storm No. 3.

Recently, at the Supe Workers' Area Hall, Lam Thao Super Phosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company (Supe Lam Thao) coordinated with the Phu Tho Provincial Red Cross Society and Lam Thao District Red Cross Society to organize the 2024 Voluntary Blood Donation Festival with the spirit of sharing "Every drop of blood given - A life remains".

As one of the workers who have continuously participated in voluntary blood donation at the Company for many years, Ms. Dang Thi Thu Huong, a worker at the Electricity and Water Enterprise, shared: “This is a meaningful work for those who unfortunately suffer from serious illnesses, so our workers are always enthusiastic and active in donating blood. I feel happy to donate my blood to patients in need of blood, saving many lives in time.”

This is an activity organized annually by the Company's Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign Committee in collaboration with the Phu Tho Provincial Red Cross Society and the Lam Thao District Red Cross Society, with the desire to join hands to solve the blood shortage, contributing to bringing life to hundreds of patients in need of blood to overcome difficulties and return to a healthy and happy life. At the same time, the activity contributes to raising awareness among the Company's staff and employees in donating blood, promoting and upholding the humanitarian gesture, a noble tradition of the Vietnamese people.

Then, this morning (September 16), a working delegation of Supe Lam Thao led by Mr. Pham Thanh Tung, Party Secretary and General Director of the Company, visited and provided support to Phu Tho province to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, with a total amount of 100 million VND.

On behalf of the Company's leadership, Mr. Tung expressed his deep sympathy for the damage to Phu Tho province caused by storm No. 3 and hoped that the Company's support would help people overcome difficulties, overcome the consequences of floods, stabilize their lives soon and restore production and business activities.

It is known that on this occasion, the Company's leadership, staff and employees donated 1 day's salary to the Vietnam Chemical Group Social Security Fund to share the difficulties of people affected by storm No. 3 in other localities across the country.
