Accompanying businesses in breakthrough development

The Vietnamese economy in general and Dak Lak in particular are entering a period of accelerated development to catch up with the era of growth. However, to reach the target of double-digit growth in the following years, the business community needs to make great efforts with the support and companionship of local authorities.

Dak Lak is making every effort to accelerate the economy to reach the annual growth target of 8% with quite comprehensive results achieved in the past 7 months. In particular, industrial production activities have grown quite well, the industrial production index in 7 months increased by 12.5% over the same period last year. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue are estimated at more than 106 trillion VND (up 13.9%). Total export turnover is estimated at nearly 1.8 billion USD (up 32.5%). Also in the past 7 months, over 1,676 enterprises have joined and 366 enterprises have re-joined the market. The Provincial People's Committee has decided to invest in 23 projects, with a total investment capital of 8,412 billion VND.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan said: The socio-economic situation of the province in July and the first 7 months of 2025 was basically stable and had some development. However, besides the achieved results, there are still some shortcomings that all levels and sectors must focus on overcoming in the coming time. To achieve the target of 8% GRDP growth for the whole year, in the last months of the year, the province must achieve a GRDP growth rate of 8.64%.

According to the assessment of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the past 7 months have also been a special time for the economy and the business community. Business confidence has been built up from revolutionary innovations. Many policies and guidelines with new thinking and new approaches have been issued such as the "four pillar resolutions", implementing the restructuring of the apparatus and administrative units associated with the two-level local government model, paving the way for a new development stage of the country, promoting the introduction of capital from the private sector into the economy.

In addition, challenges from the increasingly complex geopolitical situation are fundamentally changing the structure of the global economy, reshaping the value chain and accelerating the trend of shifting supply chains. Trade policies of major markets are increasing uncertainty and fragmentation of the world economy... In the context of a volatile global economy, businesses are facing pressure to innovate to maintain growth and compete in both domestic and international markets. However, in the face of existing challenges, in addition to their own efforts, businesses need support from the Government, ministries, branches and localities in developing preferential policies on taxes, credits, appropriate mechanisms for developing supporting technology, and increasing the localization rate.

To accompany and support enterprises in achieving the above important goals, the Government has just issued Resolution No. 226/NQ-CP on growth targets for industries, sectors, localities and key tasks and solutions to ensure the country's growth in 2025 reaches 8.3 - 8.5%. Accordingly, the Government directs ministries and branches to proactively implement trade promotion solutions, support enterprises to access and boost exports for each key industry, key market, niche market, potential market, etc.

Implementing Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development (Resolution 68), over the past 3 months, the Government, ministries, branches, socio-political organizations, and localities have begun to implement many reform solutions, creating positive movements. For Dak Lak, the Provincial Party Committee has just issued Plan 10-KH/TU, dated August 12, 2025 to implement Resolution 68 in the province, closely following the direction of the Government, urgently taking action to put the policies of the Party and State into practice. The plan requires setting out specific, clear goals, tasks, and solutions, suitable to the actual conditions of the province. The targets and tasks must be feasible, with a clear implementation roadmap, specific responsibilities assigned, and associated with implementation time. The Provincial Party Committee also set out 8 key tasks to develop the private economy in accordance with the actual situation of the province. The Provincial People's Committee is also urgently developing plans and action programs to implement the resolutions and plans of the Provincial Party Committee with the spirit of always accompanying businesses, regularly dialogue, remove difficulties, and meet development needs.

Based on the implementation of the Government's and the province's directions, many departments and branches have implemented solutions to support the business community such as: drastically cutting administrative procedures; adjusting and supplementing planning and being transparent and equal in calling for investment in socio-economic development and infrastructure projects. At the same time, strengthening dialogue, listening to businesses and business households and ensuring close supervision from agencies and socio-political organizations in implementing resolutions and plans. At the same time, the province has also issued policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises, support the creative startup ecosystem, tax incentives and preferential credit support for businesses. The Provincial People's Committee has also strongly implemented comprehensive digital transformation in government operations, minimizing the time to process administrative procedures for business records.

Hopefully, the province's efforts, along with the strong and close direction from the Central Government, will create a strong driving force for the private economic sector to make a breakthrough, making an important contribution to the province's overall growth in the coming time.
