The Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union visited and presented gifts to female members and orphans affected by floods.

On the afternoon of December 3, a delegation from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support women members and orphans affected by floods in the province.

Informing the working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Cao Thi Hoa An said that the recent historic floods have caused heavy damage to people in the province. Many families lost their homes, their livelihoods, and some even lost loved ones due to floods.

"Immediately after the natural disaster occurred, the province mobilized the entire political system to focus on providing emergency support to people, restoring essential infrastructure and stabilizing life," emphasized comrade Cao Thi Hoa An.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee sincerely thanked the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union for their deep affection and concern for women and children in the province. This is a great source of spiritual encouragement for the locality to continue its efforts to overcome difficulties.

Speaking at the visit, comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen shared her deep sympathy for the losses that people in Dak Lak province are suffering after natural disasters, especially orphans and single women.

He highly appreciated the province's proactiveness in responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters; and affirmed that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union will continue to accompany the province in social security work.

The President of the Vietnam Women's Union emphasized: "The losses caused by natural disasters in recent times are enormous. The Central Committee of the Union will continue to mobilize resources to support women and children to soon stabilize their lives, so that no one is left behind."

On this occasion, the delegation presented a total of 150 million VND in support to help women's union members and orphans affected by floods in the province. The delegation also presented 11 gifts, each worth 1 million VND and necessities, to orphans affected by floods in Tuy Hoa ward.
