During the first 3 days of Spring, about 20,000 visitors flocked to Chua Chan Mountain ( Dong Nai ) to visit Gia Bao Pagoda to celebrate the beginning of Spring.

Every New Year's Day, thousands of people flock to Chua Chan Mountain to visit and worship at the beginning of Spring. The large crowd makes this place always crowded.

According to VietNamNet reporters, on February 12 (the third day of Tet), at the cable car station, a long line of people waited their turn to get on the cable car. When leaving the cable car, visitors will arrive at one of the pagodas located halfway up the mountain, which is Buu Quang Pagoda (Gia Lao Pagoda).

This is the most famous and sacred temple because it is built halfway up the mountain in the natural terrain of the mountains and forests. To reach this temple, visitors can experience it by walking up the stairs or by cable car.

Dressed in ethnic costumes, Ms. Truong Thi Hai (49 years old, Dao ethnic group, residing in Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai) said that this was her second time coming to Gia Lao pagoda. This year, she and her family came here to pray for health, wealth and luck.

Ms. Ngoc Lan (28 years old, in the cable car cabin) shared: "Like every year, at the beginning of the new year, my family and I go to Gia Lao pagoda on Chua Chan mountain to pray for peace, fortune and make offerings."

According to statistics from Chua Chan Mountain tourist area, in the first 3 days of Spring, this place attracted about 20,000 tourists coming here to make pilgrimages, enjoy spring and visit the famous sacred Gia Lao pagoda.

More than 100km northeast of Ho Chi Minh City, Gia Lao Pagoda is a famous spiritual tourist destination in Dong Nai province, located halfway up Chua Chan mountain, 837m high, known as the "Second Heavenly Mountain" in the Southeast.
