Dong Xoai: Exchange and learn experiences on compensation and resettlement

The delegation from the People's Committee of Dong Xoai City exchanged experiences with the People's Committee of Long Thanh District.

Leaders of the People's Committee and specialized departments of Long Thanh district and Phu My town discussed the leadership, direction and management of compensation, support and resettlement; legal regulations on compensation, support and resettlement according to the Land Law 2024, procedures for implementing transitional projects; experiences and solutions to speed up progress as well as remove obstacles and shortcomings in the enforcement of the Land Law in compensation and site clearance in the two localities, especially expressway and key national projects.

Members of the Dong Xoai City delegation also discussed specific issues regarding compensation prices, resettlement policies, and efforts to persuade households affected by the project that the city is still facing in the implementation process. In addition to direct discussions, specialized agencies of the city and the two localities will also connect and share experiences to jointly carry out the project.

This experience contributes to improving the professional skills and expertise of officials and civil servants involved in compensation and land clearance for key projects in Dong Xoai City, especially in preparing for the Western section of the North-South Expressway from Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) to Chon Thanh ( Binh Phuoc ), which passes through Dong Xoai City.
