Weather forecast for October 30, 2024: Northern and North Central Vietnam will experience scattered rain, with cold temperatures at night and early morning, and freezing temperatures in mountainous areas. The area from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai will continue to experience heavy rain, with localized very heavy rain.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, during last night and today (October 29), the area from southern Ha Tinh to Thua Thien Hue experienced heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain.

Rainfall from 7 PM on October 28th to 3 PM on October 29th reached over 130mm in some areas, such as: Hoanh Son (Ha Tinh) 136.2mm, Quang Kim (Quang Binh) 187.6mm, Dong Ha ( Quang Tri ) 202.6mm, Thuan An (Thua Thien Hue) 173mm, etc.

Weather forecast for the next 24-48 hours: Northern and North Central Vietnam will experience scattered rain; particularly in the Northeast and the Northern Delta, and North Central Vietnam, from the night of October 29th to the morning of October 30th, there will be scattered showers. According to the meteorological agency, heavy rain is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on slopes. From October 31st, heavy rain in the Central region will gradually decrease.
