(HNMO) - On the evening of May 23, Tay Ho District Police ( Hanoi ) returned lost property to a foreign tourist. Upon receiving the property, Mr. Robertson James Mathew Scott (Australian nationality) expressed his gratitude for the police's enthusiastic help.
Previously, at around 11am on May 22, Mr. Scott went to Yen Phu Ward Police Station to report that he had lost his iPhone 14. The tourist did not know the exact location, only remembered moving in the Nghi Tam - Au Co area, so he asked the police to help find it.
With a sense of responsibility, the commander of Yen Phu Ward Police requested to organize a review and extract camera footage along the route to help find the tourist, and at the same time propagate to citizens living in the Nghi Tam - Au Co area about the content of the above incident.
Through propaganda, at around 7:00 p.m. the same day (May 22), Mr. Nguyen Kim Chung (in Yen Phu ward, Tay Ho) went to Yen Phu ward police to report the incident of picking up an iPhone 14, but at the time of picking it up, he was busy with work and did not have time to go to the police station to find the owner.
When notified to come and receive his property, Mr. Scott sincerely thanked the police for their enthusiastic help and was grateful for Mr. Chung's good deed.
