At the national level, Vietnam has been honored as "Asia's Leading Destination 2024", "Asia's Leading Heritage Destination 2024", and "Asia's Leading Nature Destination 2024".
At the local level, Hanoi won the "Leading City Tourism Destination in Asia 2024" and "Leading City Tourism Destination for Short Holidays in Asia 2024" awards. Ho Chi Minh City also proudly received two awards: "Leading Business Tourism Destination in Asia 2024" and "Leading Festival and Events Destination in Asia 2024". The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism won the "Leading City Tourism Management Agency in Asia 2024" award, and the Quang Nam Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism won the "Leading Local Tourism Management Agency in Asia 2024" award.
The title of "Asia's Leading Cultural City Destination 2024" went to the ancient town of Hoi An. Moc Chau, the "Green Gem," was honored as Asia's Leading Local Nature Destination 2024; Ha Giang province, located at the northernmost point of Vietnam, received the title of "Asia's Leading Local Cultural Tourism Destination 2024". Ha Nam province was honored for the first time with the "Asia's Leading Emerging Tourism Destination 2024" award. In addition, many destinations, resorts, travel agencies, airlines, etc., in Vietnam also received numerous top Asian awards this year.
