During 11 years of implementation with 9 times of organization, the Vietnam Tourism - Culture Festival in Kanagawa, including the program introducing Vietnam tourism in Kanagawa, has become a meeting point, a cultural - tourism bridge, helping Japanese people understand more about the friendly and rich-identity country of Vietnam.

In 2024 alone, there were more than 711,000 Japanese tourists visiting Vietnam. Also in the past year, there were more than 621,000 Vietnamese tourists visiting Japan.
In the first 7 months of 2025 alone, Japan welcomed about 420,000 Vietnamese visitors, an increase of 18.3% over the same period in 2024. Meanwhile, in the first 8 months of 2025, Vietnam welcomed about 540,000 Japanese visitors, an increase of 17.1% over the same period last year.
