The yacht carrying 27 people, including 15 British tourists, is off the coast of Marsa Alam, Egypt's state-run Al-Ahram news agency reported.

After the fire broke out and sank the ship, 12 British tourists were rescued, however the remaining 3 British were reported missing and are being searched for by rescue forces.
Egyptian authorities and local media have not mentioned the cause of the fire.
A spokesperson for the UK Foreign Office said in a statement on Sunday that they were “in contact with local authorities” and were supporting the British nationals involved.
Notably, the incident comes just days after beaches in the Red Sea resort of Hurghada were closed after a Russian man died in a shark attack.
