Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, formerly Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, including all 3 levels, was established under Decision No. 169/UB dated
June 21, 1993 of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh Town.
In August 1995, the high school block was separated into Han Thuyen Gifted High School. Right from the first days of establishment, the high school block only had 3 specialized classes: 10 Math, 10 Physics, 10 English with a total of nearly 50 students.
In May 2003, the school was named Bac Ninh Specialized High School. In the 2020-2021 school year, by May 2021, the Specialized High School had 36 classes with 1,151 students and 126 cadres, teachers, employees and contract workers; including 5 leaders and 102 teachers. Bac Giang High School for the Gifted was established under the Decision of the People's Committee of Ha Bac province on August 26, 1991 with the first name of Ha Bac Provincial Gifted High School.
In 1997, Ha Bac province was split into Bac Giang province and Bac Ninh province and Ha Bac Gifted High School was renamed Ngo Sy Lien Gifted High School.
In 2004, Ngo Sy Lien Gifted High School was renamed Bac Giang Specialized High School according to the Decision of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province dated January 18, 2004.
From the beginning, there were only 8 classes with 4 specialized subjects. After 33 years of development, the school has 13 specialized subjects: math, information technology, physics, chemistry, biology, literature, history, geography, English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean; 36 classes (history and geography combined into 1 class) with more than 1,250 students.
Currently, the school's organizational structure includes the Board of Directors, 7 professional groups and 1 office group. The total number of teachers and staff of the school is 108 comrades, of which: The Board of Directors has 4 comrades (Principal and 3 Vice Principals), 92 teachers, 8 administrative staff and technical staff.
The professional qualifications of the school's teachers and staff meet 100% of the standards, of which 56.7% are above the standards, and can meet the needs of training and fostering gifted students and teachers for theeducation sector of Bac Giang province.
The school's Party Committee consists of 78 members, with 6 Party cells, continuously recognized as clean and strong.
