Mr. Le Dac Ha - Secretary of Duy Hoa Commune Party Committee said that the work of planning cadres is carried out seriously, with full procedures and quality at all implementation steps, from the stage of reviewing, commenting, and evaluating cadres to the structure to ensure quantity and quality.
“Duy Hoa was selected by Duy Xuyen District Party Committee to organize a model congress at the grassroots level, directly electing the Secretary. Therefore, the Commune Party Committee promptly disseminated the preparation work to the subordinate Party cells and Party members, and established two sub-committees to serve. At the same time, it carefully prepared all conditions to successfully organize the Party cell congresses, towards the 25th Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Currently, the subordinate Party cells have completed documents and conducted personnel work, and are expected to hold the congress starting from December 20. In particular, the development of personnel plans is discussed democratically, promoting collective intelligence and creating a high spirit of solidarity and unity within the Party Committee," said Mr. Ha.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Manh - Standing Deputy Secretary of Duy Xuyen District Party Committee said that in 2024, the District Party Committee will continue to strongly innovate leadership methods, selecting urgent, prominent, limited and weak issues in localities, agencies and units to focus on solving. In addition, perfecting personnel, mobilizing, assigning and appointing key officials at all levels with 64 cases meeting requirements, suitable for capacity, right person for the right job, ensuring compliance with regulations, objectivity, publicity and democracy. In addition, 9 officials will be sent to political theory training and 32 leaders and managers will attend training courses to update knowledge according to Regulation 164 of the Politburo .
Mr. Manh added: “Duy Xuyen District Party Committee has issued a Project to rearrange commune-level administrative units in the district for the period 2023 - 2025 for Duy Thu and Duy Tan communes. Develop a Project to rearrange the Party organization and apparatus in a scientific and reasonable manner and prepare related contents to establish the new Duy Tan Commune Party Committee”.

According to Mr. Truong Thanh Tung - Secretary of the Duy Tan Commune Party Committee, the locality regularly pays attention to inspection and supervision work. From the beginning of 2024, the Party Committee and the Inspection Committee issued programs and plans, focusing on inspecting and supervising leaders and key officials in areas, locations, and positions where corruption and negativity are likely to occur. At the same time, attention is paid to thoroughly resolving incidents that cause resentment among officials, party members, and the people.
“This year, the Commune Party Committee inspected 2 Military Party Cells and Phu Nhuan 2; supervised 3 Police Party Cells, Thu Bon Tay, Phu Nhuan 3 and 3 Party Cell Secretaries. Thereby, contributing to maintaining order and discipline, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization,” said Mr. Tung.
Mr. Truong Cong Thanh - Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Duy Xuyen District Party Committee said that in recent times, the work of inspection and supervision has continued to be led and directed with focus and key points. In particular, the supervision and inspection at all levels, inspection when there are signs of violations associated with handling the responsibilities of cadres and party members continue to be focused on. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen the work of self-inspection and self-supervision of Party committees, Party organizations and organizations in the political system, promptly detect from within to immediately correct violations from the beginning, from afar, from early, from the grassroots.
According to Mr. Thanh, in 2024, the Party Committee from the district to the grassroots level of Duy Xuyen inspected 52 Party organizations and 63 Party members; supervised 52 Party organizations and 56 Party members; the quality of inspections was improved, the process and procedures were in accordance with regulations. The Inspection Committee from the district to the grassroots level inspected 7 Party members when there were signs of violations, 61 Party organizations in performing inspection tasks, enforcing Party discipline and Party finance.
In addition, thematic supervision was carried out on 47 party organizations and 49 party members. Accordingly, the Party Committees from the district to the grassroots level disciplined 17 party members, and the Inspection Committees at all levels disciplined 6 party members. "The review and enforcement of discipline on party organizations and party members who violated the law were carried out seriously and objectively, ensuring principles, procedures, and authority, strictly maintaining discipline and order within the Party, promoting positive effects in educating and training party members, consolidating and enhancing people's trust in the Party's leadership," said Mr. Thanh.
