Nearly 1,500 initiatives of Maritime workers

In 2024, union members and employees of Vietnam National Shipping Lines will have 1,500 initiatives with an estimated total benefit value of about 60 billion VND.

The above information was given on January 6, at the 2024 year-end conference of the Vietnam National Shipping Lines Trade Union. Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh attended the conference. This result was achieved from the launching and organization of good labor emulation movements and good management, contributing significantly to the production and business results of the Corporation and enterprises in 2024. Also in the year, the Vietnam National Shipping Lines Trade Union guided grassroots trade unions to carry out trade union financial work in accordance with regulations, ensuring funding sources for taking care of the rights and welfare of union members and workers, movement activities, developing union members and building strong grassroots trade unions. Establishing 2 grassroots trade unions, 2 member grassroots trade unions, developing 598 new union members, bringing the total number of grassroots trade unions to 61 units... On this occasion, the Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company Trade Union was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the Comprehensive Emulation Flag to 4 collectives; awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives of the emulation cluster and block that had outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good workers and building a strong Trade Union organization in 2024; awarded Certificates of Merit to 15 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good workers and building a strong Trade Union organization in 2024... Speaking at the Conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh and Mr. Le Anh Son - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Shipping Lines Corporation both highly appreciated the efforts of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines Corporation, taking care of union members and workers.
