The moment the whole theater stood up together, sang the National Anthem, and followed the footsteps of the parade formations broadcast live from Ba Dinh Square moved many people.
Nearly 10,000 viewers watched the live broadcast of the parade for free at the cinema.
"I never thought that one day I would see a military parade right in the cinema. Sitting in the middle of a crowded auditorium, singing the national anthem and watching each troop, I felt my heart filled with pride," said Bui Ly Hai, an audience member in Ho Chi Minh City.
A CGV representative said that bringing the country's important event closer to the public is part of the commitment to spreading cultural and historical values through the entertainment platform. "We are very proud to accompany the event celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day. This is a new experience, helping the audience approach history in a more intimate and impressive way," he emphasized.
