This is the second training course following the first training course held in Nghia Tru commune, Hung Yen province, within the framework of the "Data Education for All" Program.
The program is a key initiative of the National Data Association to enhance the capacity to use data and digital technology for all classes of people, to concretize the direction of the General Secretary and leaders at all levels in implementing the movement "Digital Education for All". In addition to training for teachers, the program also organizes activities for students, people and local officials.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Major Dao Duc Trieu, Director of the Center for Innovation and Data Exploitation, National Data Center, General Secretary of the National Data Association, emphasized: “Data Popularization” carries the spirit inherited from the previous “Data Popularization” movement, which helped eliminate illiteracy for millions of people. Now, that mission is continued in a new context: Eradicating data illiteracy, enlightening digital knowledge, helping people become “data citizens”, knowing how to use, analyze and apply data in the digital age.
The National Data Association identifies this as a long journey, requiring perseverance, creativity and cooperation from the whole society. With close guidance from leaders at all levels and active participation from the community, training courses on digital transformation have been and will continue to be organized, contributing to narrowing the digital gap, promoting equitable, comprehensive and sustainable development.
The training course held in Yen Bai commune today aims to improve the capacity of using technology, data and digital tools for local teachers. During the 2-day training, nearly 200 local teachers will be trained in the following contents: Using classroom management software and online teaching; Exploiting open data resources for teaching; Applying basic AI tools to support the development of lesson plans and lectures...
The course is taught directly by experts in AI, digital transformation and education from Nguyen Hoang Group, a member enterprise of the National Data Association, the program's companion.
The training course is led by Dr. Duong Van Thinh, a leading expert with more than 10 years of experience in researching and teaching about AI and data. The teaching assistants are technology experts from Veron Company - a technology company under Nguyen Hoang Group. They will provide technical support and practical guidance for students, answer questions throughout the course, and accompany students in group and individual activities.
The training sessions are not only theoretical but also combine practice, helping teachers easily access and apply them to daily work.
Also at the opening ceremony of the training course, the National Data Association presented 5 65-inch TVs to serve the teaching work of teachers to 5 primary and secondary schools with difficulties in Yen Bai commune.
