Meeting and giving gifts to relatives and families of martyrs

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 * July 27, 2024), on May 30, the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs (VAFS) and the Provincial VAFS in coordination with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of the province organized visits and gave gifts to relatives and families of martyrs in the province.

The organizing committee presented gifts to relatives of martyrs in Viet Tri city.

At the event, the organizing committee presented 20 gifts to relatives and families of martyrs in Viet Tri City and authorized 80 gifts to representatives of the Associations for Supporting Families of Martyrs in the districts of Lam Thao, Tam Nong, Cam Khe, Yen Lap, Thanh Son, Tan Son, and Phu Ninh. Each gift, worth 2 million VND, was taken from the total amount of donations recorded in the "Paying Tribute to Martyrs" text messaging program in 2023, organized by the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in coordination with the Vietnam Red Cross and the National Humanitarian Information Portal 1400.

The Organizing Committee authorized 80 gifts to representatives of the HTGĐLS Associations of Lam Thao, Tam Nong, Cam Khe, Yen Lap, Thanh Son, Tan Son and Phu Ninh districts.

This is a practical activity aimed at expressing profound gratitude for the immense contributions and sacrifices of the heroic martyrs in the struggle for national liberation and the protection of the Fatherland; encouraging and motivating the families of martyrs to continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition and strive to build an increasingly prosperous homeland.
