| Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of March 24, 2025. |
According to statistics, domestic coffee prices continued to rise sharply last week, increasing by 1,900 – 2,900 VND/kg compared to the previous week, reaching 132,900 – 134,000 VND/kg. On the world market, at the end of the week, Robusta coffee futures for May 2025 delivery increased by 118 USD/ton. Arabica coffee futures for May 2025 delivery increased by 12.95 cents/lb.
It is forecasted that in the short term, domestic coffee prices may continue to increase slightly due to high export demand and limited supply.
On the international market, Robusta prices are expected to maintain an upward trend, while Arabica prices may experience a slight downward adjustment due to abundant supply from Brazil.
In the domestic market, coffee prices today recorded a slight increase and remained at a high level. This is a positive sign after a series of consecutive price increases over the past week, reflecting the stability of domestic supply and demand.
Experts say that the price of Robusta has increased continuously over the past two weeks, adding more than 150 USD/ton. Currently, the market for this type of coffee is dependent on the supply from Vietnam. Vietnamese coffee is "alone in the market" in the world because Brazil is also out of stock. Therefore, the price of coffee remains high. If there is a major change, it will be after May 2025 because that is when Brazil will enter the harvest season. Information about drought in Dak Lak has raised concerns about the impact on the productivity of the next crop in Vietnam, which also pushed Robusta prices to increase again.
Factors affecting current coffee prices: Major producing countries such as Vietnam and Indonesia are entering the final stages of the harvest, causing a decrease in Robusta supply; Robusta continues to be popular in major consumer countries, especially Europe; The US dollar maintains a high value, supporting coffee transactions in the international market.
