Extension of construction of emergency anti-erosion embankment in Tam Hai island commune

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee decided to approve the adjustment of the implementation time of the Investment Project to build emergency anti-erosion works and protect the coast of Tam Hai island commune (phase 4).

The implementation period of this project is extended to December 31, 2024. Previously, on August 28, 2020, the Provincial People's Committee approved the Investment Project to build an emergency anti-erosion work and protect the coast of Tam Hai island commune, invested by the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works. The project's objective is to prevent erosion and protect the coast of the island commune, contributing to the local socio -economic development with the scale of building a hard embankment with a length of about 678m, the top of the embankment combined with traffic roads. The total investment of the project at the time of initial approval was nearly 40 billion VND. The initial project implementation period was estimated from 2020 to 2022.
