With a spirit of daring to think and act, the government and people of Ia Krêl have joined hands to implement the program in a synchronized and systematic manner, yielding many positive results.
According to Gia Lai Newspaper and Radio & Television, as of now, Ia Krêl commune has 16 products that have received OCOP certification, including 1 product that has achieved 4-star standard and 15 products that have achieved 3-star standard, demonstrating the diversity and increasingly affirmed quality of its products.

Ia Krêl's signature products, such as dried beef, sun-dried Broong pork, salted pork trotters, salted chicken, coffee, winter melon tea, salted roasted cashews, plain dried cashews, nut-mixed coin-shaped cakes, dried bamboo shoots, etc., all bear the distinctive flavors of the Central Highlands region.
Many products have been displayed at provincial trade fairs and promotional events, and uploaded to e-commerce platforms, expanding their market reach and promoting local agricultural brands beyond the province and internationally.
According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ia Krel commune, the OCOP program in Gia Lai has truly become an integral part of people's lives, helping to increase income, create stable jobs, and affirm the brand of local agricultural products.
Ia Krêl commune views OCOP (One Commune One Product) as a strategic direction in sustainable agricultural development, gradually enhancing the value of Gia Lai's agricultural products and bringing them to domestic and international markets.
In the coming period, the commune will continue to support businesses in perfecting and upgrading their products, applying digital technology for traceability, forming production-consumption linkages, and linking OCOP development with agricultural experiential tourism.
Ia Krêl also aims to build its own e-commerce platform for Gia Lai's OCOP products, promoting advertising, attracting investment, and expanding the consumer market. Through this, the OCOP program not only contributes to spreading the spirit of rural entrepreneurship but also helps local people get rich from local agricultural products, affirming the position of Gia Lai's agricultural products on the Vietnamese brand map.
