Regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province and Lua Rice Viet, currently, the price of IR 504 export raw rice increased by 50 VND/kg, ranging from 7,550 - 7,650 VND/kg; CL 555 export raw rice fluctuated at 7,340 - 7,450 VND/kg, an increase of 100 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice fluctuated at 8,700 - 8,900 VND/kg; OM 380 export raw rice fluctuated at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg; Soc Det export raw rice fluctuated at 7,600 - 7,800 VND; OM 5451 export raw rice fluctuated at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; Export raw rice OM 18 fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; finished rice IR 504 fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,400 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, fragrant rice bran has increased by 50 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,450 - 7,550 VND/kg; the price of bran fluctuates at 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

In localities today, trading activities are flourishing, prices of rice of all kinds fluctuate little. In Can Tho, warehouses are still buying fragrant and sticky rice, new good quality and easy to sell Autumn-Winter rice. In An Giang , large warehouses are buying regularly, prices of rice of all kinds are stable.

In Lap Vo, Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), the quantity of imported rice is sporadically, with little fluctuation in all types of rice. In An Cu - Dong Thap, white rice is purchased regularly, other types of rice are purchased sporadically, and the prices of all types of rice are relatively stable.

At retail markets, rice prices of all types have increased compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of 28,000 VND/kg; regular rice fluctuates at 11,000 - 12,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice is at 21,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at 16,000 - 18,000 VND/kg; common white rice is at 16,000 VND/kg; Soc rice usually fluctuates at 16,000 - 17,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice is 20,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice is 22,000 VND/kg.

In many localities today, buying and selling transactions are steady. In Dong Thap, the supply is low, farmers proactively offer high prices, transactions are steady. In Can Tho, the harvested rice supply is low, traders buy little, prices are stable.

In Vinh Long, farmers kept the price of rice at some good fields high, some buyers paid the old price. In An Giang and Tay Ninh, the supply is low, the demand for fragrant and sticky rice is quite good, the price fluctuates little.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained stable compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), the current price of 5% broken fragrant rice fluctuates between 420 and 440 USD/ton; 100% broken rice fluctuates between 314 and 318 USD/ton; and Jasmine rice fluctuates between 447 and 451 USD/ton.
