7 people rescued in 8-storey house fire in Hanoi

According to the Ba Dinh District Police ( Hanoi ), at around 4:25 p.m. on November 23, the authorities received a fire report at house number 73, Truc Bach Street, Truc Bach Ward. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team dispatched 13 officers and soldiers along with 2 fire trucks to the scene to put out the fire and search and rescue.

The house on fire was built with 8 floors, 1 attic, area of about 33m2, the fire started on the 2nd floor.

The first fire point was identified at the corner of the wall of the second floor room, the location of the Lioa socket and a wifi transmitter, the fire area was small and insignificant.

Notably, rescuers saw smoke rising from the 8th floor of the house and there they discovered 7 people trapped. The rescue team quickly guided them to the ground safely.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
