Paraglider trapped on power line rescued

On the afternoon of October 20, the leader of the Department of Culture and Information of Hoa Binh city said that the unit had just coordinated with the Quang Tien commune government to successfully rescue a man and his paraglider stuck in a power line.

"The rescue team coordinated with the electricity industry to cut off the power and safely bring the victim to the ground. The authorities are considering administrative sanctions because this person was not licensed to fly a paraglider," said the leader of the Department of Culture and Information.

Earlier that afternoon, social media spread an image of a man and his paraglider stuck in a power line in Hoa Binh city.

Footage shows the man trapped, dangling in mid-air, above an umbrella caught in a power line.

The location where the man was trapped is in Quang Tien commune, Hoa Binh city, this area is famous for paragliding experiences.
