Signing of STEM loan disbursement contract in Phu Bai ward.

Accordingly, two customers in Phu Bai ward were disbursed 152 million VND for the 2025-2026 school year to cover tuition fees, living expenses, and other study costs during their studies, with a loan interest rate of 4.8% per year.

Ms. Bui Thi Le Tinh, Director of the Huong Thuy Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, said that the branch is stepping up its propaganda efforts, closely coordinating with schools, local authorities, and socio-political organizations, as well as savings and loan groups, to widely disseminate information, helping parents and students understand the conditions and procedures for borrowing capital. At the same time, we are simplifying the process and providing thorough guidance so that students, including master's and doctoral students in STEM fields who need and meet the eligibility criteria, can access loan capital.

Currently, there are 4 customers in the city who have accessed credit from the program under Decision 29 of the Prime Minister , with a total capital of 304 million VND.
