Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health writes letter of encouragement to young doctors

On August 11, Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Chi Thuong, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, sent a letter to doctors who had just completed a pilot practice program at a hospital attached to a medical station.

The Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health advised: "There are only a few days left until you officially choose your long-term workplace. The leaders of the city's health sector believe that you have been carefully researching the recruitment needs of doctors at 63 hospitals and medical centers under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health. You deserve to be the ones who have the right to choose where you will work to suit your personal wishes and strengths."

"Please boldly introduce your 6-year university study results and 18-month internship results to the leaders of the units you choose to register, including introducing your talents and strengths. Please carefully research the department, department, major, and field that you will be responsible for when the hospital or medical center accepts you before signing the memorandum of understanding," Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Chi Thuong, Director of the Department of Health, encouraged.

As reported by SGGP, the “Job Fair” for doctors who have just completed a pilot internship program at a hospital attached to a medical station will take place at 7 a.m. on August 15 at the Rehabilitation and Occupational Disease Treatment Hospital.

There are currently 63 units with recruitment needs registered to participate. Each hospital and center with recruitment needs will be arranged a counter for young doctors to register for jobs. This is also a place for leaders of the units to conduct quick interviews to detect additional talents needed for the job positions, and at the same time, it is a place for candidates to ask for more information about the unit before signing up.

During the festival, each doctor will have 3 opportunities to choose a permanent workplace for themselves, corresponding to 3 rounds of workplace registration. Each round will last 30 minutes, in each round each doctor will only have one opportunity to choose a place to register for employment.
