Meeting on internal affairs, anti-corruption and negativity

In the first 6 months of 2024, Party committees, authorities, and internal affairs agencies have focused on leading, directing, and implementing well the tasks of national defense and security, maintaining national security and territorial border sovereignty. Absolutely protect the safety of important targets, delegations, Party and State leaders, political , economic, cultural, and foreign affairs activities in the province, focusing on the activities of the National Tourism Year of Dien Bien 2024 and the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory. Focus on directing the fight and effectively preventing the establishment of a "separate state", the activities of evil cults, and illegal religious activities; effectively implement measures to prevent violations and crimes, especially drug-related crimes and social order crimes. Coordination between prosecution and judicial support agencies in investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments must be tight, effective, and in accordance with the law. Attention must be paid to directing the implementation of citizen reception, dialogue with the people, and the settlement of complaints, denunciations, and recommendations.

In the first 6 months of the year, the dissemination and education of laws on corruption prevention and control was promoted; assets and income were declared publicly and reported according to regulations; corruption cases occurring in the area were promptly handled. The Judicial Reform Steering Committee at all levels issued and implemented the key program for judicial reform in 2024; the organization of the Judicial Steering Committee and judicial agencies continued to be consolidated and improved; online court sessions were increased; and facilities of judicial agencies were given attention, contributing to effectively serving the fight against, prevention and control of crime.
