Ha Anh Tuan said, "Singapore, Australia, and the US are all excuses for me to dream of the common dream of Vietnamese music being raised high with pride and humanity in the vast world of humanity. I do not realize my own musical dream to stay but to live, to melt into my people wherever I am."

The name of the program Sketch a rose is inspired by the play Believe in roses by the late writer Luu Quang Vu.

According to Ha Anh Tuan, this phrase inspires him on his singing career and helps him always believe in good things from the smallest things.

And with the performance Sketch a rose at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles (USA), Ha Anh Tuan and his crew have realized the beliefs in roses - bringing Vietnamese music to the theaters that are the "art cathedrals" of the region and the world (after Esplanade, Singapore) and Opera Sydney, Australia).

Coming to his audience in the US, Ha Anh Tuan chose songs that are closely associated with the spiritual life of many generations of Vietnamese people to begin and end. These are the music of Pham Duy ( Em bé quê, Bà me quê, Tình ca, Ngay xua Hoang Thi, Áo anh sut chi duong tac ...); Trinh Cong Son ( Bà me Ô Lý, Canh đồng hoa binh , Xin cho tôi ...).

Sketch a rose also brings many new compositions of young musicians - like a cool, youthful breeze. Those are also the songs Ha Anh Tuan likes in the album Sketch a rose such as Rose (Phan Manh Quynh), Poet Guest (Thanh Nghiep), You (Vu Cat Tuong) and From the Ashes (Tran Duy Khang).

As a guest of the show, famous singer Tuan Ngoc (with Thu Phuong and Phan Manh Quynh) was surprised when Ha Anh Tuan brought a crew of more than 100 people to perform in Hollywood. Thu Phuong shared: "I have waited 40 years to stand on a stage like this, and always believe that good things will come if we do not stop dreaming and trying."

Donated 2.6 billion VND to the program "Continuing Life with Children"

During the show, Ha Anh Tuan, on behalf of the audience, donated 100,000 USD (about 2.6 billion VND) to Thanh Nien Newspaper's program "Continuing Life with Children" to support orphans after Covid-19. Previously, he and his team contributed 4 billion VND to the community project "Choi Viet Nam" to support children in special circumstances (this project also accompanied Thanh Nien Newspaper to sponsor orphans due to Covid-19).

Many Vietnamese artists such as Y Lan, Tuyet Ngan, Minh Tu (Trio Ao Trang), Thanh Thao, Doan Trang... came to enjoy Ha Anh Tuan's music night. In particular, the program was honored to welcome the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the US - Nguyen Quoc Dung with his wife and family.

Closing the program, the male singer excitedly said: "Allow Ha Anh Tuan to ask for another special version of Sketch a rose , called The Rose , for the upcoming winter days in Da Lat."
