The project to renovate and upgrade the Phung Xa - Di Nau drainage canal aims to ensure drainage for 382 hectares of agricultural , non-agricultural and residential land of Phung Xa and Di Nau communes (Thach That district).

In addition to creating conditions for agricultural production development and improving people's lives, the project aims to prevent encroachment and violations of construction corridors, reduce environmental pollution, and create conditions for local socio -economic development.

The Phung Xa - Di Nau canal renovation and upgrading project is a group B project, a level IV agricultural and rural development project (Irrigation project); the canal bank surface is combined with a type B rural traffic road.

According to the decision, the project to renovate and upgrade the Phung Xa - Di Nau drainage canal has a length of about 3,839.62m; solidify the left bank of the canal combined with building a rural road with a length of about 3,429.42m; renovate and upgrade works on the canal.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Hanoi City Technical Infrastructure and Agricultural Construction Investment Project Management Board to be the investor, taking full responsibility before the law for the accuracy and legality of the information and data shown in the project dossier submitted for appraisal and approval.

The investor is responsible for organizing, managing and implementing the project in accordance with the provisions of law on management of construction investment projects; managing construction quality, managing construction investment costs; using state budget investment capital thoroughly and economically, avoiding loss or waste of investment capital.
