Hanoi is “Asia's Best Emerging Culinary City Destination 2025”

The 6th World Culinary Awards ceremony recently held in Italy announced the list of outstanding culinary destinations in 2025. Vietnam was honored to receive the award "Best Culinary Destination in Asia 2025", while the capital Hanoi won the title "Best Emerging Culinary City Destination in Asia 2025".

According to the Information Center (Vietnam National Tourism Administration), this year's list of winners also includes the Saigontourist Group's Culinary Culture Festival, which received the title of "World's Leading Culinary Festival 2025"—recognizing the group's efforts in organizing large-scale, professional, and distinctly national culinary events. In addition, Capella Hanoi restaurant was awarded the "World's Best Brunch 2025" prize, further affirming Vietnam's high-class service and culinary quality in the high-end restaurant and hotel sector.

Rina van Staden, Director of the World Culinary Awards, said: “The 2025 winners embody a spirit of relentless pursuit of excellence, innovation, and elevating the global culinary scene.”

Vietnam is known for its rich and diverse cuisine, deeply rooted in national identity. From traditional dishes like pho, bun cha, nem ran, and banh mi, to innovative modern dishes, Vietnamese cuisine always offers a harmonious blend of flavor, color, and presentation.
