According to the project to develop at least 1 million social housing units, Hanoi is assigned to build 56,200 units by the end of 2030 - among the highest in the country. This year, Hanoi is expected to have 6 social housing projects open for sale and this project in Dong Anh is the second project to receive applications recently. The investor's representative recommends that people submit applications to the correct address as announced, not through intermediary channels to avoid risks.

Since the end of 2024, many social housing projects in the capital have been started, but prices have tended to increase. Three years ago, the opening price of this type of house was under 20 million VND per square meter, but now there are places selling for 25-29.4 million VND. Recently, the Ministry of Construction has asked the city to inspect and examine social housing projects with skyrocketing prices. The income ceiling for individuals buying social housing has been raised to 20 million VND per month, an increase of 5 million compared to before, but many people are worried that it will still be difficult to buy this type of housing.

According to the project to develop at least 1 million social housing units, Hanoi is assigned to build 56,200 units by the end of 2030. This year alone, the capital needs to complete 4,670 units. The Department of Construction said that so far, the city has one completed project with about 1,340 apartments and 5 qualified to supply to the market (4,635 units). Accumulated in the period 2021-2025, the city has 16 projects qualified to open for sale with more than 17,300 units.
