Hanoi competes to speed up the progress of the Ring Road 4 project in the Capital Region

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize an emulation movement to strive to excellently complete socio -economic targets in 2024, making achievements to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

The plan aims to arouse pride in the heroic tradition of the thousand-year-old capital, and raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and people for the cause of building and developing the capital.

Notably, Hanoi requested to speed up the progress of the investment project to build Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region.

At the same time, deploy the contents of: Emulation movement to promote the construction of civilized urban areas, "Bright - green - clean - beautiful"; Emulation movement "Promoting the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure; practicing thrift, fighting waste"; Emulation movement "For the poor - Leaving no one behind".

Compete to ensure security, order and social safety; Evaluate and propose works and projects to ensure quality and progress; put up signs to inaugurate works to celebrate major holidays and the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day; Publish the book Beautiful Flowers, volume XXX; Complete documents and procedures to submit to all levels to award Medals to the Party Committee, government and people of Hanoi city; Advise the city to consider and award the title "Outstanding Capital Citizen"; Compete to ensure social security, repay gratitude...

The Ring Road 4 - Capital Region project is 112.8km long, passing through Hanoi city, Hung Yen and Bac Ninh provinces; total investment is about 85,813 billion VND.

The project is divided into 7 component projects including 3 projects for site clearance, 3 projects for parallel road construction (urban roads) under the form of public investment and one expressway project under the public-private partnership (PPP) method.

The project started in June 2023 and is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2027.

According to the report of the Ministry of Transport, the cumulative disbursement of capital for the Ring Road 4 project - Hanoi Capital Region to date has reached nearly 11,400 billion VND/15,496 billion VND of total allocated capital, reaching about 74%.
