HAGL relies on 'quality advisor' before the big match against the reigning V-League champions

In round 2 of V-League 2023 - 2024, HAGL will face Hanoi Police Club. To prepare for the match with the reigning Vietnamese champion, Coach Kiatisak invited a special person to the mountain town to join HAGL's training sessions.

The "mentor" invited by the former Thai national team striker is Matt Eliott, a former Scotland national team player who once played for Leicester City. Eliott is currently a coach at the Brooke House Football Academy in England. Coach Matt Eliott visited and directly participated in training the HAGL players for two days, in preparation for the match against Hanoi Police FC on the afternoon of October 28th at Pleiku Stadium.

In the first round of the V-League, both HAGL and Hanoi Police FC drew 1-1. At this point, in terms of squad strength, the police team is clearly considered stronger, boasting a lineup of national team stars. However, judging from their performance in the first round against Binh Dinh FC, Hanoi Police FC still lacks stability.
