Hai Duong completes digitizing civil status data

Civil servants of the Department of Justice receive and process administrative procedures for citizens at the Provincial Public Administrative Service Center.

By the end of September 2024, Hai Duong had completed the digitization of 100% of its civil registration data, with 1,974,873 registered civil cases, ensuring timely progress. All civil registration data is stored on the shared civil registration system managed by the Ministry of Justice.

Digitizing civil registration data helps overcome the cumbersome storage and preservation methods of the past. When citizens request a civil registration extract, officials only need to search the data in the electronic civil registration database. This helps reduce time, costs, and manpower in managing and processing related documents.
