Hai Duong completes digitizing civil status data

Civil servants of the Department of Justice receive and process administrative procedures for people at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center.

By the end of September 2024, Hai Duong had completed digitizing 100% of civil status data with 1,974,873 civil status registration cases, ensuring progress. All civil status data is stored on the shared Civil Status system managed by the Ministry of Justice .

Digitizing civil status data helps overcome the cumbersome storage and preservation of civil status records in the traditional way. When citizens request a civil status extract, civil servants only need to look up data on the Electronic Civil Status Database. Thereby helping to reduce time, costs and human resources in managing and handling related records...
