Hai Phong pioneers in creating education in the era of artificial intelligence

On September 28, 2025, the Hai Phong Department of Education and Training coordinated with FPT Corporation and FPT Schools to organize an intensive training workshop "Day of AI Vietnam" for nearly 270 secondary and high school teachers. This is not only a professional event, but also a pioneering step of the Hai Phong education sector in realizing the policy of "comprehensive digital transformation, popularization and strong application of digital technology and artificial intelligence in education and training" in the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW of the Politburo.

In the context of the global explosion of digital technology and AI, Hai Phong has become the first locality to cooperate withFPT to implement the Day of AI program. While many places are still struggling to bring AI into the classroom, Hai Phong has chosen a methodical and sustainable direction: not just stopping at "teaching tools", Hai Phong Education focuses on building a foundation of thinking, digital capacity, and ethical standards so that students know how to use AI intelligently and responsibly.

What makes the Day of AI program different is that it not only guides the use of AI as a support tool, but more importantly, it provides teachers and students with technical concepts, ethical issues, and methods for teaching AI in public schools.

This training session provided nearly 270 teachers of secondary schools, high schools and continuing education centers with basic knowledge, international standard learning materials and methods to integrate AI into each lesson. After the training, this team of teachers will become the core force, directly implementing AI teaching in schools.

In particular, the program also aims to provide 50,000 free Coursera online learning platform accounts, opening up opportunities for teachers and students to access the most comprehensive, modern and suitable AI knowledge.
