Along with the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics announcing a sharp increase in the cutoff scores for its three early admission methods, two other universities in Ho Chi Minh City have also just announced their cutoff scores according to their respective admission plans.
The Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking has announced the admission cutoff scores for eligible candidates applying through early admission methods, including comprehensive admission and the V-SAT computer-based university entrance assessment method, for the 2024 regular university program.
The early admission cutoff scores announced by the school include priority points for region and category as per regulations.

The admission scores for the English Language major and English Language (Special Program) using the V-SAT method for the English subject have been multiplied by a factor of 2 and converted to a 450-point scale.
According to the early admission cutoff scores announced by the university, the International Economics major has the highest cutoff score in the combined method - high-quality program (partially in English) with 133.57 points; the highest cutoff score in the standard program is for the International Business major with 315.25 points.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Law has announced the admission scores for "early admission" to its regular undergraduate programs in 2024 for candidates who are eligible for "direct admission, priority admission, and early admission" according to the university's own admission plan.

According to the school, the total enrollment quota this year has increased from 840 to 1,134, but the admission results are the same as in 2023.
The minimum admission scores (without weighting) for candidates belonging to groups 1, 2, and 3 are as follows:
Group 1: Candidates belonging to Group 1 who win first, second, or third prize in the national excellent student selection exam are eligible for "direct admission" according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the university's undergraduate admission regulations.

The Ho Chi Minh City University of Law notes that this is only the qualifying result for admission. This result will become official when the candidate meets all the necessary criteria as stipulated in the regulations and by the university. Candidates must have graduated from high school in 2024 or previous years according to the current admission regulations.
Simultaneously, the candidate must provide valid verification results of the international certificate (or the certificate provided by the examination organizing unit to the school at the candidate's request) and/or a comparison of the original high school transcript with the documents the candidate has provided to the school, confirming consistency and validity; and comply with the school's regulations.
Candidates whose names are on the list of those eligible for early admission, if they still wish to study at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, must continue to register their preferences on the Ministry's common system, as notified by the university that they have been eligible for early admission.
Accordingly, candidates who are notified by the school that they are eligible for early admission based on a specific category and method should select that category and method to register, specifically:
Group 1 (Method Code): 301 - Direct admission according to regulations;
Target Group 2 (Method Code-Name): 410 - Combining high school academic results with international certificates;
Group 3 (Method Code): 303 - Early admission based on the school's own admission plan.
