Thousands of Bao Loc people braved the rain to watch the art night of Huong Tra.

(NLĐO) - Despite the rain during the "Bao Loc - City of Tea Fragrance and Silk Beauty" program, thousands of people eagerly followed the event.

On the evening of December 14th, at March 28th Square in Bao Loc City ( Lam Dong province), an art program titled "Bao Loc - City of Tea Fragrance and Silk Beauty" took place. This event was held in response to the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival – 2024, and also aimed at honoring the traditional crafts of the locality.

Before the opening ceremony, the stage for the "Bao Loc - City of Tea Fragrance and Silk Beauty" program was completely full.

The program also serves as a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the construction and development of Bao Loc city, enhancing trade promotion, tourism promotion, and introducing the land and people of Bao Loc city; affirming the distinctive local industries, the B'Lao tea region, and Bao Loc silk and orchids to domestic and international friends.

Before the program's opening, it was raining in Bao Loc City, but the host patiently waited to watch the art performance "Bao Loc - City of Tea Fragrance and Silk Colors".

Mr. Ngo Van Ninh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bao Loc City, said that Bao Loc has long been considered the "capital" of tea and the silk industry in Vietnam.

Blessed with an ideal climate and soil, this place, along with the diligence and creative labor of people from all over the country, has formed, nurtured, and developed the Bảo Lộc tea and silk brands we see today.

Spectators, wearing raincoats, patiently waited to watch the spectacular art performance.

"This year's art program, 'Bao Loc - City of Tea Fragrance and Silk Beauty,' is a continuation, affirmation, and celebration of tea growers, processors, silkworm breeders, silk weavers, and orchid growers. It affirms the brand and reputation both domestically and internationally, bringing high economic value and practical benefits to the land and people of Bao Loc throughout the 30-year journey of Bao Loc's urban development (1994-2024)," Mr. Ninh emphasized.

Despite the rain, a large crowd of people from Bao Loc waited to watch the program.

Besides the elaborately staged artistic performances, the program features many famous singers and artists from across the country such as singers Tung Duong, Hoang Hong Ngoc, Meritorious Artist Ploong Thiet, Meritorious Artist Phuong Anh, Ngoc Ha, Tong Viet Tiep, Vi Thao...
