The number of retail stores has nearly quadrupled compared to the first year. As of December 2023, UNIQLO operates 22 stores in four provinces and cities nationwide, including Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Binh Duong , as well as an online store. Accordingly, by 2022, the percentage of Made in Vietnam products in domestic stores was over 50%.
In 2021, UNIQLO officially launched its online store, UNIQLO.com, which achieved 2,500,000 downloads in just two years. Earlier this year, UNIQLO further rolled out its automated payment system at several major stores to support faster, more accurate, and more convenient checkout processes.
The production process of UNIQLO products by Fast Retailing Group - UNIQLO's parent company - has indirectly created approximately 240,000 jobs for local workers. At its stores, UNIQLO trains around 1,000 employees, with over 70% of store managers being Vietnamese.
After four years of operation, UNIQLO has implemented numerous community support programs. Notable examples include RE.UNIQLO – collecting used clothing, sorting it, and donating it to those in need, creating a more meaningful lifecycle for garments; and the "Bringing Clean Drinking Water to the Mekong Delta" project, contributing to protecting the health of nearly 3,000 students and teachers severely affected by salinity intrusion in the Mekong Delta.
