Haus Da Lat is a project by The One Destination, a pioneering developer of ESG (Engineering, Procurement, and Service) real estate in Vietnam. Spanning 5 hectares, Haus Da Lat is located in the heart of Da Lat City, overlooking Xuan Huong Lake, and includes luxury apartments, a shopping center, and a 5-star hotel operated by an international brand.

Following the announcement of investment from the BTS Bernina Fund and investor Terne Holdings Singapore, The One Destination revealed Haus Da Lat as the first project to collaborate with four leading global brands: architectural and landscape designer Kengo Kuma and Associates (KKAA); world-renowned lighting design company Isometrix Lighting & Design; interior design company 1508 London, owned by many of the world's billionaires; and leading wellness and therapy brand Chiva-Som.
According to experts and investors, this merger will mark a new turning point in the Vietnamese real estate market.
This is a rare occasion in Vietnam where a project attracts so many foreign partners, including funds and investors, and leading global design and operating brands. KKAA, Isometrix, 1508 London, and Chiva-Som don't mass-produce; they always carefully select partners and assess the value of projects to create groundbreaking works of art around the world.

Da Lat is famous for its beautiful natural landscapes, cool and fresh climate, and many landmarks that have become national heritage sites. Kengo Kuma, a leading Japanese architect and one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world in 2021, chose Da Lat to create his next iconic project. Kuma focuses on using traditional materials such as wood, bamboo, and paper in his architectural works. Each of Kuma's architectural creations is a living work of art that harmonizes with nature and endures through time.
Kengo Kuma and his associates spent over five consecutive years in Da Lat researching and developing this groundbreaking design. Kengo Kuma stated that Haus Da Lat will be the city's largest "pine forest conservation" project, blurring the lines between architectural structures and the surrounding landscape.

Kengo Kuma focuses on the image of a pine cone, a part of the pine tree, to create a distinctive architectural symbol. Through the subtle arrangement of natural materials, this project will challenge building materials and visual art, creating an appearance like an art installation, while simultaneously promoting environmental awareness and sustainability for future generations.
To create a structure that harmonizes with nature, Kengo Kuma chose to collaborate with Isometrix, a globally renowned lighting design company behind iconic lighting projects around the world.
Isometrix designed Haus Da Lat based on the natural light of the environment and to blend seamlessly with nature. "The entire lighting design is hidden behind the building to highlight the architecture. The lighting system will be programmed from the outset to flexibly change the light and color according to the time of day, year-round, regardless of whether it's a weekday or a holiday," an Isometrix representative revealed about the lighting design.

1508 London, the luxury interior design company behind famous projects for many billionaires, and renowned apartment buildings and hotels in many countries, has chosen Haus Da Lat as its first project in Vietnam.
What sets 1508 London apart is its ability to combine art, architecture, and personalized experiences to create exclusive, high-end spaces for the owners of apartments at Haus Da Lat. Iconic projects by 1508 London are world-renowned, with prices ranging from US$106,000/m² at the Mayfair luxury apartments (UK), US$124,000/m² at the Mandarin Oriental (Los Angeles), US$161,000/m² at The Peak (Hong Kong), and more.
"At Haus Da Lat, 1508 London will combine inspiration with local motifs to create spaces that tell a unique story for Da Lat, while also using world-class materials to create timeless works of art, with a unique design for each living space," a representative from 1508 shared.
