Coach Kim Sang-sik is humorous before the U.23 Vietnam team's debut day

On the afternoon of December 2, the U.23 Vietnam team continued to practice at RBAC stadium to prepare for the match against Laos, taking place at 4:00 p.m. on December 3 at Rajamangala stadium.

In the SEA Games men's football, no team in Group A and B had the chance to practice on the official field. The reason is that Rajamangala Stadium hosted both groups, playing on the same day. Therefore, the 33rd SEA Games Organizing Committee arranged for the teams to practice on neighboring fields, about 15 to 20 minutes away from Rajamangala Stadium by bus. Even the host team Thailand was no exception.

In the current squad of U.23 Vietnam, only Khuat Van Khang will experience Rajamangala Stadium when he and the Vietnamese team play the second leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final against the Thai team.

This is also a common difficulty for the teams, so coach Kim Sang-sik and his students are still quite comfortable before the important match. Coach Kim even "took the opportunity" to joke with a humorous expression.
