Effectiveness of party member development work

Identifying the development of party members as an important task in the work of Party building, in recent years, the Yen Mo District Party Committee has focused on leading, directing, and innovating the work of training and creating sources for party member development. In 2021, Yen Mo District Party Committee admitted 174 new party members, in 2022 admitted 217 new party members, in 2023 admitted 260 new party members and in the first 8 months of 2024 admitted 224 party members, exceeding the annual target, bringing the total number of party members of the entire district Party Committee to more than 8,100 party members.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Viet, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Yen Mo district said: Developing party members is an objective requirement, and at the same time an important and regular task of each party organization to rejuvenate the team, ensuring the inheritance and development of the Party.

Recognizing the importance of this work, in recent times, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has closely followed Directive 05-CT/TU of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership over the work of developing Party members in the 2021-2025 period and Plan No. 07-KH/BTCTU of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee on developing Party members among students in Ninh Binh province in the 2021-2025 period; promptly issued plans on developing Party members to ensure requirements and suit the practical situation of the district.

The District Party Committee directs, organizes dissemination and propaganda so that cadres and party members are deeply aware of the position, meaning and importance of improving the quality of creating sources for party members; considering the work of developing party members as one of the important tasks in the work of building a clean and strong party organization and party cell.

Orienting grassroots party organizations to focus on creating sources for party development, assigning specific targets to each party cell and party committee associated with clear responsibilities of each committee member, thereby bringing positive results in the work of developing party members of the entire district Party Committee.

The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has had many creative, practical solutions, suitable to the reality in certain periods such as: Focusing on creating a source of secretaries of youth unions, association branches, heads of association organizations, demobilized soldiers, and students for admission. Opening classes on Party awareness, new party members flexibly according to the actual situation and each group of people and party members. Specifically: For students, classes are organized in the summer; for workers, civil servants, and laborers, classes can be opened on Saturdays, Sundays or evenings...

At the same time, regularly inspect, supervise, guide, and remove difficulties and obstacles for the grassroots in the work of creating sources and recruiting party members to ensure standards, conditions, principles, and procedures. A highlight in the work of developing party members in Yen Mo district is that the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee directs the creation of sources for recruiting party members in high schools. From 2020 to present, the whole district has 157 students from high schools and continuingeducation centers admitted to the Party.

In reality, focusing on discovering, nurturing and recruiting student Party members not only contributes significantly to supplementing the Party's next generation of forces and resources, but also helps orient the thoughts and actions of young people to live with ideals and ambitions, thereby striving to study and train to become excellent individuals, soon making positive contributions to the overall development of the homeland and country.

These students are also examples of a beautiful lifestyle, morality, and intelligence, creating a positive influence on the younger generation. The Party Cell of Yen Mo A High School is considered the leading flag in training and recruiting students into the Party. From 2020 to now, the school's Party Cell has trained and recruited 73 students into the Party.

Teacher An Thi Que, Party Cell Secretary and Principal of the school shared: Right from grade 10, the school Party Cell assigned the homeroom teacher and the school Youth Union to review and make a list of students with achievements in studying and youth movement to monitor, orient and educate them about revolutionary ideals. At the same time, create a favorable environment for students to practice and strive, to reveal their qualities and abilities. When students have met all the criteria, the process of admission to the Party will be carried out according to the correct procedures and principles, ensuring strictness, transparency, objectivity and publicity.

Along with efforts to achieve and exceed the target of recruiting new party members, the Yen Mo District Party Committee also prioritizes the quality of party members. The age structure of party members in the whole district is relatively suitable, the number of female party members, young people, ethnic minorities, religious people, and private business owners is increasing. The proportion of female party members accounts for 41.5% of the total number of party members in the whole Party Committee; the level of education, expertise, and political theory is increasingly higher (party members with university degrees or higher account for 41%; party members with elementary political theory level or higher account for more than 41%).

Comrade Nguyen Tien Viet, Standing Deputy Secretary of Yen Mo District Party Committee added: In the coming time, along with continuing to do a good job of recruiting new Party members, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee will focus on political and ideological education; tighten discipline and order; strengthen inspection, supervision and management of Party members, promptly review, screen and resolutely remove from the Party those Party members who are no longer qualified to ensure the purity of the Party.

Continue to promote the implementation of the Central Resolution 4 (term XI, XII) and the conclusion of the term XIII on Party building and rectification and the political system in conjunction with the implementation of Directives on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

In addition, it is necessary to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members; focus on the quality of Party members, the vanguard and exemplary nature of Party members in life and work... From there, build the District Party Committee to be increasingly clean and strong and continue to achieve impressive results in 2024 and the following years.
