Attending the press conference before the match between Hanoi Police Club and Beijing Guoan in the first round of Group E of AFC Champions League Two 2025 - 2026 on the evening of September 17, coach Alexandre Polking shared his determination.

"It will be a historic day, when for the first time Hanoi Police Club participates in such a big arena. We are proud, happy and eager to prove our strength," the Brazilian strategist shared.

"We are not here in Beijing for a holiday, we are here with the goal of winning. That is the reason I joined the club. I am here to compete in arenas like the AFC Champions League."

Meeting Beijing Guoan is the first time Hanoi Police Club participates in the continental arena since being promoted to V-League in 2023.

Beijing is a traditional team of the Chinese Super League, has a squad worth twice as much as Hanoi Police Club and owns many high-class foreign players.

"We respect Beijing Guoan, but they will also have to respect us. The whole team has prepared well and is ready to show their best performance. It will be a difficult match but the whole team is very eager to accept the challenge," said coach Polking.

The match between Hanoi Police Club and Beijing Guoan will take place at Cong Nhan Stadium at 7:15 p.m. on September 18, Vietnam time, live on K+.
