The program, organized by Viet Unicorn, aims to mentor, support, and develop young Vietnamese talents in the field of entrepreneurship. Through this, it contributes to helping young startups gradually realize their dreams of becoming global entrepreneurs, while minimizing risks and failures in the startup process.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Dang, the founder of Viet Unicorn, stated that the organization was established with the mission of helping Vietnamese entrepreneurs overcome challenges such as a lack of vision and understanding of global business, a lack of long-term direction, an overly individualistic mindset, and a failure to integrate with international laws and business practices.
"We are committed to providing not only high-quality international training programs but also connecting you with resources and investment opportunities."
"From there, we hope to support the development of groundbreaking startups, contributing to the sustainable development of the community and elevating Vietnam's position in the global startup scene, creating many high-quality startups," Ms. Dang said.
According to Ms. Dang, the more unicorn startups are created, the more social problems will be solved in a creative and sustainable way.
Kris Nguyen, co-founder of Viet Unicorn, emphasized: "We believe Viet Unicorn will become a solid launching pad to help young Vietnamese people access new opportunities and broaden their global mindset. From there, we can contribute to the development of the Vietnamese startup community worldwide ."
Driven by the ambition to build a new generation of Vietnamese start-up leaders, Viet Unicorn aims to place Vietnam among the top 20 on the global unicorn map by 2045. With the goal of nurturing and developing start-ups from the creative potential and capabilities of Vietnamese youth, the program comprises four main activities: Start-up leadership training, Start-up support, Global trade, and International communication.
Applications will be accepted from November 20th.
For its first season, Viet Unicorn officially accepts applications from November 20, 2024 to March 20, 2025.
This is seen as an opportunity for young people who aspire to start their own businesses and lead them to success, or young entrepreneurs who already have startups and want to develop them sustainably, or potential leaders who want to develop their personal and business leadership skills.
