Expedite the progress of key projects.
The extended Nguyen Sy Sach road project (Vinh City, Nghe An Province) is considered a "key to expanding Vinh's urban space." The road has a total length of over 6.3 km, stretching across the communes of Hung Loc, Hung Hoa, and Hung Dung ward. The starting point is at Km0+00 (intersecting with Nguyen Phong Sac road), and the end point is at Km6+327.04 (connecting to the road along the Lam River). This is also an extremely important transportation route, connecting the center of Vinh City with the road along the Lam River dike, linking the Cua Lo beach tourist area and the Cua Hoi bridge connecting to Ha Tinh province.
The project, launched in 2018, aimed to ensure the synchronization of technical infrastructure systems and create an architectural and landscape axis for the eastern part of the city. This was intended to create a focal point, attract investment, and contribute to the socio -economic development of the city. However, due to obstacles related to cemetery land resettlement and the determination of land ownership for compensation and clearance, the project could not be completed on schedule and had to be extended.

Recently, in a statement to the press, Mr. Nguyen Sy Dieu, Vice Chairman of the Vinh City People's Committee, affirmed: " By the end of December, or at the latest by the beginning of January 2024, all land clearance will be completed. Once the land is available, with this volume of construction, I believe the contractor will complete the road opening to traffic within the first quarter of 2024. "
Mr. Nguyen Sy Dieu also added that the city is currently in the process of completing the necessary procedures to continue implementing phase 2 of the project, which involves expanding the entire Nguyen Sy Sach road to both sides by mid-2024. Nguyen Sy Sach is one of the city's largest roads, stretching over 6.3 km and passing through a vast area, while the construction plan for the areas on either side has yet to be finalized. This presents significant potential for investors to continue investing in the city, especially large-scale projects that could help the city become a regional center in the North Central region for finance, commerce, tourism, science and technology , etc.
From the contractor's perspective, according to Mr. Le Van Huu, the site manager of Nguyen Sy Sach road construction, the contractor hopes to receive the land from the remaining households as soon as possible. Once the land is available, the contractor can bring in machinery, equipment, and personnel to ensure the project is completed on schedule and handed over to the investor, the People's Committee of the city.

From the perspective of the residents, they eagerly await the opening of the extended Nguyen Sy Sach road. Many households are ready to quickly hand over their land to support the local government's development of transportation infrastructure, making travel easier and promoting local socio-economic development. "I fully agree with the government's plan to build the road and hope it will be opened soon so that people and my family can travel more easily," shared Ms. Vuong Thi Lien from Phong Quang hamlet, Hung Hoa commune, Vinh City.
Completing Nguyen Sy Sach Street - a key step in expanding Vinh's urban space.
In its development plan, Nghe An province has identified the extension of Nguyen Sy Sach road as one of the key "arrows" for expanding Vinh's urban space. This area has relatively abundant land, but its infrastructure is not yet commensurate with the region's geographical potential. Completing the construction and opening of the road will encourage major investors to choose Vinh city for large-scale projects. Initial examples include large projects such as Eco Central Park and the city's 100-hectare regulating lake project funded by the World Bank.

Over the years, Nguyen Sy Sach Street has played a crucial role in the development of the northeastern part of Vinh City. With numerous bank headquarters and offices located on the street, Nguyen Sy Sach Street is considered Vinh's financial and banking district. Furthermore, it is also one of the streets with a wide variety of specialized goods, especially building materials, ranging from high-end furniture to bricks and tiles.
With its already strong development potential, Nguyen Sy Sach Street, along with its extension once completed and opened to traffic, will undoubtedly boost socio-economic development and contribute to changing the urban landscape of the entire eastern area of Vinh City.
