The monitoring and social criticism activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province are increasingly substantive.

That is the opinion of the majority of cadres, party members, and people on the monitoring and social criticism activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in Tay Ninh province in the period of 2022-2025, recorded through a social opinion survey by the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department in June 2025.

Social supervision and criticism are increasingly substantive and linked to people's lives.

In the context of innovating the Party's leadership method, promoting socialist democracy and building a socialist rule-of-law state of the people, by the people and for the people, the supervision and social criticism activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations increasingly affirm their essential role in creating a bridge between the Party, the government and the people.

The results of a recent survey of public opinion on the social supervision and criticism activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in Tay Ninh province in the period of 2022-2025 conducted by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee recorded many positive results, reflecting changes in both awareness, organization methods and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism.

First of all, the results of the public opinion survey assessed that the awareness and interest of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in social supervision and criticism activities have made significant progress. Notably, the majority of people (73.7%) surveyed said they were interested (41.8%) or very interested (31.9%) in this activity. This shows that social supervision and criticism activities are no longer a strange concept, but have gradually become a familiar part of the political and social life of cadres, party members and local people.

The attention of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life towards social supervision and criticism activities has made significant progress.

The practical effectiveness of social supervision and criticism activities during this period was also more clearly recognized. The majority of people (60.9%) assessed that social supervision and criticism activities had a clear impact, and many policies were adjusted to better suit the aspirations and interests of the people.

In addition, 61.5% of opinions stated that monitoring and criticism activities are increasingly substantive, focusing on practical issues directly related to people's lives and receiving public attention. This not only shows the proactive innovation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province, but also reflects the increasingly clear role of the People in the monitoring process of the activities of Party committees, authorities and agencies in the political system.

Another bright spot in the survey results is that competent agencies and organizations have shown a receptive spirit in receiving opinions and recommendations through monitoring and social criticism activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations. 64.6% of opinions noted that the explanation and reception were well implemented, showing an increasingly democratic, open and responsible political and administrative environment in the province. At the same time, the public disclosure of the results of handling people's recommendations and the discovery and recognition of good models also received positive reviews from 61.8% of survey participants.

All suggestions are received and processed by Party committees and authorities at all levels.

Overcoming limitations, continuing to innovate supervision and social criticism for the benefit of the people

Along with the positive results achieved, social supervision and criticism activities in the province still face many difficulties and limitations. Up to 60.5% of the survey opinions said that the quality of social supervision and criticism activities still does not meet the requirements, and has not strongly promoted the role and participation of all classes of people.

Some places are still confused in determining the focus of monitoring and criticism, and there is a lack of initiative and creativity in implementing the plan. The discovery of good and effective practices in monitoring and social criticism activities of the Fatherland Front system, socio-political organizations and individuals for commendation and reward has not been paid attention to for information and widespread dissemination .

People exercise their right to supervision through representative organizations, but the effectiveness of some organizations and some places is still limited, they are not bold in making recommendations, reflecting and not following up on the resolution; therefore, the representativeness of the people is not high . The mechanism to mobilize and encourage people to participate in supervision and social criticism activities is also not strong enough, and has not received the response and proactive participation of the people.

From the above situation, it can be seen that in order to further promote the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism activities, it is necessary to continue to synchronously implement many solutions. First of all, propaganda and awarenesseducation work needs to be further promoted to improve the understanding and responsibility of cadres, party members and people. Clarifying the differences and complementary roles between supervision and social criticism will contribute to promoting more proactive and quality participation from cadres, party members and people. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the direct and decisive direction from the Party Committee, especially the role of the leader in orienting and supervising the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.

Innovation in content and methods of operation is an inevitable requirement. Each monitoring and criticism program needs to closely follow reality, prioritizing practical and urgent issues directly related to the legitimate interests of the people. At the same time, there needs to be a specific mechanism to motivate and encourage the participation of many social components, especially intellectuals, prestigious people and community representatives. Timely honoring and rewarding exemplary models and individuals will also contribute to creating motivation and spreading the spirit of innovation and creativity. Finally, it is necessary to focus on training and fostering to improve the capacity, political will and professional skills of the team of cadres doing monitoring and criticism work to ensure objectivity, effectiveness and persuasiveness in all activities.

It can be said that the results that Tay Ninh province has achieved in social supervision and criticism activities in recent times are very remarkable. This is a solid foundation to continue to consolidate and enhance people's trust, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the state apparatus and build a democratic, fair, civilized and sustainably developed society. Although there are still difficulties and limitations, with the right orientation and appropriate solutions, it can be believed that this activity will increasingly play an important role in building a strong Party and government and contributing to sustainable local development.
