Job opportunities in Chinese Pedagogy
Chinese Pedagogy is a major in the Pedagogy sector, with the mission of training bachelors with full teaching qualities as well as mastering professional knowledge so that after graduation, they can teach at public schools, private schools or foreign language centers.
At the same time, students in this major will be provided with additional specialized knowledge of Chinese so that after graduation they can participate in scientific research at research centers or pursue graduate studies.
Ms. Duong Thu Hien, who is teaching Chinese at a foreign language center in Ha Tinh, added that besides English, Chinese is very popular in Vietnam. After graduating, if students do not participate in teaching, they can apply for jobs in Taiwanese and Chinese companies.
"After graduating from Chinese school, it is very easy to find a job, of course, on the condition that you study hard and master many skills. If you want to pursue a teaching career, I think students should continue to study for a master's degree and get a scholarship to study abroad in China or Taiwan. After returning home, you will have enough capacity to work for a company and teach at night at a center," said Ms. Hien.
Currently, the salary for newly graduated Chinese Pedagogy students working outside of public educational institutions ranges from 12 to 15 million VND/month, and can be higher depending on experience.

In 2023, with the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, this major will have a standard score of 25.15 points (A01; D01; D04; D66).
University of Foreign Languages (Hue University) - in 2024, admission to Chinese Pedagogy will be based on 4 methods: based on high school graduation exam scores, academic records, direct and priority admission, and admission based on the school's own methods.
In 2023, the school's Chinese Pedagogy major will have a standard admission score of 24.85 points (D01; D04; D15; D45).
University of Foreign Languages (University of Danang) - this year, Chinese Pedagogy major is enrolled in 5 ways: direct admission, admission according to the school's own project, considering academic records, considering the capacity assessment test scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University, considering high school graduation exam scores.
With the 2023 high school graduation exam score review method, this industry takes the admission standard score for block D04 as 24.28 points and blocks D01; D78; D96 as 24.98 points.
