If you want to pursue a teaching career, I think students should continue their studies to obtain a master's degree and get a scholarship to study in China or Taiwan. After returning to Vietnam, you will have the necessary skills to work for a company while also teaching part-time at a center in the evenings," Ms. Hien said.

Currently, the salary for newly graduated Chinese Language Teacher Training students working outside of public educational institutions ranges from 12 to 15 million VND per month, and can be higher depending on experience.

The University of Foreign Languages ​​(Vietnam National University, Hanoi) has not yet announced its 2024 admissions plan, but based on the 2023 plan, the Chinese Language Pedagogy major will recruit students through four methods: direct and priority admission, admission based on high school graduation exam scores, admission based on foreign language certificates, and admission based on aptitude test scores.

Based on the 2023 high school graduation exam scores, this major has a minimum admission score of 35.9 points (D01; D04; D78; D90).

The School of Foreign Languages ​​(Thai Nguyen University) is highly regarded for its Chinese language training program and has become a top choice for many students when selecting a university and major.

The university admits students to the Chinese Language Teacher Training program through three methods: high school graduation exam scores, direct admission, and academic transcript review. In 2023, using the high school graduation exam score review method, the cutoff score for this program was 25.15 points (A01; D01; D04; D66).

Hue University of Foreign Languages ​​(Hue University) - in 2024, will admit students to the Chinese Language Pedagogy major through four methods: considering high school graduation exam scores, considering academic transcripts, direct admission and priority admission, and admission according to the university's own method.

In 2023, the university's Chinese Language Pedagogy program had an admission cutoff score of 24.85 points (D01; D04; D15; D45).

The University of Foreign Languages ​​(University of Da Nang) is recruiting students for the Chinese Language Pedagogy major this year through five methods: direct admission, admission based on the university's own plan, admission based on academic transcripts, admission based on the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test scores, and admission based on high school graduation exam scores.

Based on the 2023 high school graduation exam scores, this major has a cutoff score of 24.28 for block D04 and 24.98 for blocks D01, D78, and D96.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Education - in 2023, the minimum admission score for the Chinese Language Pedagogy major was set at 25.83 points, considering two subject combinations: D01 and D04.

In addition to the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the school also recruits students through three other methods: direct admission and priority admission, consideration of academic transcripts combined with a specialized aptitude test, and consideration of high school academic transcripts.
