The contest aims to educate children in Vu Quang (Ha Tinh) about the friendly relationship and good feelings between the two peoples of Vietnam and Cuba that the two Parties and Peoples have worked hard to cultivate, preserve, protect and pass on to future generations.

Responding to the painting contest "Vietnam - Cuba Children in Solidarity" launched by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Vu Quang District Youth Union has widely promoted and deployed for primary and secondary school students in the area to participate.

The contest is held from June 1 to August 1, 2023 to promote and educate children about the friendship and good feelings between the two peoples of Vietnam and Cuba, which have been diligently cultivated, preserved, protected and passed on to future generations by the two Parties and Peoples of the two countries.

After more than 3 weeks of implementation, Vu Quang District Youth Union organized for students in 5 communes to participate (Duc Giang, Duc Huong, Quang Tho, Duc Giang and Duc Linh) with more than 250 entries.

The entries were drawn on white paper, praising the friendly relationship, solidarity, and the constant support between Vietnam and Cuba; honoring the beautiful images between the people and youth of the two countries; the determination, inheritance, preservation and promotion of the special relationship between Vietnam and Cuba; understanding the country and people of Cuba, President Fidel Castro, etc.
